Disappointing Experience – Would Not ReturnI came in for a massage expecting a relaxing and therapeutic experience, but unfortunately, it fell far short. When I arrived, I was asked what pressure I preferred and I said medium. However, after just a few minutes, I had to ask for more pressure—and was then told that anything firmer would be considered a "deep tissue massage" and cost \$10 more. That felt misleading.Shortly after, I was asked if I wanted coconut oil instead of the regular oil. I said yes, thinking it was just a preference, only to be told that would also be \$10 extra. At that point, I declined. The actual massage felt more like I was being lightly oiled rather than massaged. There was almost no pressure applied, and it lacked any real technique or benefit. When it came to the foot massage, it was especially disappointing. The therapist wore latex gloves, which—combined with the oil—created a strange, unpleasant texture. The gloves would snap against my skin, making it far from a smooth or enjoyable experience. There was no stretching, no attention to the calves, and an awkward, repetitive rubbing motion over my toes that felt more strange than relaxing. All in all, I left feeling unsatisfied and a bit frustrated. This was not a professional or therapeutic massage, and I would not return. They were extremely nice. But it was not what I expected.
